Join NYCATA/UFT and the Museum of Arts and Design for a private tour of the exhibition "Jewlery Stories", followed by a chance to make your own jewelry in the MAD Education Center. The art project will be led by NYCATA/UFT teachers and can be replicated with K-12 students in your classroom. Sargent Art Supplies https://sargentart.com/ has generously provided all the materials. Come spend the afternoon and network with NYC art educators. Pizza, snacks and drinks, museum passes for future visits and 2 CTLE credits will be provided. We will meet at the 6th floor Education Center at 4:45 PM and participants are welcome to arrive earlier and explore the museum beforehand. There is a $5 reservation fee from NYCATA to reserve your space, act early - registration will close at 25 participants.
